summer is coming!
Summer is coming in Egypt, in Fayoum desert and our home Tunis village. It is indeed well known that summer are hard in Egypt, mostly in desert parts, but we STAY OPEN!
The rhythm of our everyday life is for sure gonna change, considering the high temperatures of the day. However, it is completely possible to visit us, ride with us early mornings and late afternoons, for sunrises and sunsets, and spend the day in the air-conditioned rooms or in our swimming-pool.
As it is not high season for sure, visiting us in summer can actually be very relaxing, hot indeed but you will have the place for you only…
Let’s talk a bit more about our summer routines!
Summer is coming to us for real now, and we are ready for it.
Summer in Egypt, mostly in desert parts such as Fayoum desert, are for sure hot and hard, let’s be honest. However, summer also has some good and positive points we would like to talk to you about. It is all about recharging batteries after the season, taking care of the guest house, stables, equipment of all kind,… and of course horses. Horses are, like any animal or human-being, suffering from hot summers in countries like Egypt, but it is nothing new to us. Special treatments are put into place, such as we explained in our blog second article. Even though our animals are suffering from the heat, they in the same time are still very resting after the season, and getting ready slowly for the next season. Also, taking them out is still necessary! The only thing is that the daily rhythm is for sure really changing. Any kind of activities, such as riding, are only possible early morning and late afternoon, and both horses and us can enjoy fully the fresh air of the sunrise and the cool wind coming after the hot day. But yes, it is indeed still possible! We stay open for our guests the whole summer, and can propose sunrise and late sunset trips still. We perfectly know that we are in the low season , and won’t have a flow of guests which could make our horses tired, or suffer from intense trips, as we are very careful on that.
Also, summer is a very important moment to think and plan for the next season, and the seasons to come after! During the hottest hours of the days or during the nights, we are working on new projects, and developing our plans to make you, our dear guests, live the most incredible experience with us, and make your dreams come true in Fayoum desert. We truly believe to have a unique desert, a unique dream place, and we are always pushing ourselves to make the best of it, a unique paradise.
Last but not least, what is cool about coming to visit us in the summer? Well, you’ll definitely have the place all for you!
For those who are looking for peace, silence and quiet, this is actually the best moment to come, if you can brave the heat. Indeed, as we said, we are surely in the very low season, and won’t for sure be invaded by big groups! Tunis village, and our home Tunis Stable will become a real haven of peace. You can enjoy a sunrise desert ride, or an early and short morning ride to Lake Qarun, have a late breakfast, and relax all day long during the hottest hours of the day in the swimming pool. Then, when the evening breeze is starting to call, we can depart to the desert for a sunset trip. We then use to stay up and have fun until late at night, as it is the best moment to get a bit of fresh air. Summer nights are also for sure our moment to meet up and spend cosy time all together, relax and joke, after the hard and stressing work of the season!
