NEW TRIPS TO SECRET DESERTS!
The holy month of Ramadan just finished some days ago, we start a new month and who says new month, says new surprises here!
We have been planning this since a long time and, actually, we have been doing this in the past, and we are about to make it possible for our guests: we are about to officially launch new desert horse-riding trips, to secret deserts only we know!
The real story is that Mohamed Saleh, the one and only, has been doing these secret trips in the past. Mohamed, when he first came in Tunis village and in the area of Fayoum desert around 20 years ago, went discovering by himself all places of Fayoum many deserts. He went deep inside every part, and knows where are the hidden gems of every desert in Fayoum. However, at the time it was not possible to bring guests and clients in all parts. Then, over the years, business grew, in Tunis village and step by step in the desert, but in the main known spots such as the famous Magic Lake. Over the years, Mohamed, his sons, family and team managed to create the perfect logistic and organisation to make desert horse-riding trips possible in the most easy and fluent way for all type of clients, level of horse-riding, and size of groups, from private trips to groups of more than 20 riders all together. Business flourished, and the focus stayed for long on the most famous spots, that all riders dreamed to ride in. All people coming to us dream about these fast racing gallops on the perfect sandy ground in the Wadi Rayane area, dream about sunset at Magic Lake, and about the breathtaking mountains on the other side of Fayoum desert, North of Lake Qarun. All our guests are coming with dreams here, are living them with us, leaving the place with stars in their eyes along with their big smile, and they come back to us. But satisfying our guests in this way became not enough for us… And we always like to be full of surprises.
It is time for us to come back to what Mohamed Saleh has been doing in his first years here: going for adventures and discovering new deserts. We are very happy to announce you, dear readers, guests or future visitors, that we now offer trips to some secret deserts in Fayoum, where nobody has ever been with horses.
Over the last months, we have been working hard on our logistic and organisation, to ameliorate even more our ways of organizing trips in the desert, mostly regarding the safe transport of our dear horses. We worked hard and our efforts were rewarded. On special requests, we can now offer unique trips to our dear guests.
Fayoum desert is bigger than what people think. People are used to hear about the Magic Lake, Wadi Rayane, the waterfalls area, Wadi El Hitan… But there are so many different uncharted deserts to discover in the region, all of them more breathtaking than the others. If you look on the map, the desert of Fayoum is the first area, close to Cairo, of the whole north african sahara, going on until Morocco! Discovering new deserts is an experience you won’t forget. You feel so small, so tiny, in this open wilderness, which appears so quiet, but in the same time so savage.
